Missed ConExpo 2026? Here’s what you missed from Prinoth

Prinoth Vegetation Management North America redefined industry standards last week at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. The team debuted an industry-first technology designed to solve the most persistent challenges in land clearing: hidden hazards and operator safety on extreme terrain.

The centerpiece of the exhibit was PrinothView, a groundbreaking digital detection system that allows operators to "see" through dense brush and grass to identify hazards before a costly impact.

Hidden rocks, metal debris, and utility fixtures cost contractors thousands of dollars in equipment repairs and downtime every year. Unlike traditional LIDAR, which can be obstructed by dust and thick vegetation, PrinothView utilizes advanced sensing technology—originally proven in defense and large-scale agriculture—to detect hazards through organic matter.

"This technology eliminates the need to send out a spotter to walk the area first," says Tom McMahon, Marketing Manager for Prinoth Vegetation Management North America. "Even with human spotters, you can only see so much. PrinothView delivers unprecedented accuracy, protecting both the machine and critical infrastructure like transformer boxes and utility pedestals."

Internal research from PRINOTH suggests the average mulching machine encounters four major damage events per year. With repair costs averaging $2,000 per incident, PrinothView is positioned as a critical tool for operational profitability. The system is slated for field deployment in 2027.

For jobsites where the terrain is too dangerous for a seated operator, Prinoth is introducing the Raptor 60. This compact, remote-controlled tracked carrier is designed for steep-slope landscaping, municipal, and light forestry applications.

Offered standard with the Grizzly M350h mulcher, the Raptor 60 can navigate slopes up to 55 degrees. This allows the operator of the remote control to remain at a safe distance while the 59-hp diesel engine tackles thick brush and small trees. Its lightweight design and low ground pressure make it an ideal choice for sensitive environments where minimal site impact is required. Pre-orders for the Raptor 60 are now being accepted, with availability of the carrier and additional attachments expected in Q4 2026.

Beyond hardware, Prinoth is expanding its digital ecosystem with Prinoth Connect. This fleet management platform provides real-time data on machine health, fuel consumption, and geographical positioning. By integrating these metrics, fleet managers can optimize maintenance schedules and improve the overall efficiency of their vegetation management operations.
